Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a family atmosphere with big and efficient rooms but some maintenance issues like damaged curtains and unfinished sink worktop. The location on top of the cliff near the historic port of Charlestown creates amazing views, but some obstructions may affect smaller guests.
I felt like I was up in the gods at the very top of the hotel, facing the front rather than the back. The room smelt damp, as if it hadn't been used in some time. Not exactly what I expected for a premium experience.
The hotel's location is fantastic for walking and exploring nearby beaches, and the staff provide warm and friendly service. However, the rooms, while traditional, had a slight smell of damp and mildew, and the dining options were somewhat limited. The hotel's proximity to Charlestown, the Eden Project, and St Austell make it a convenient base for sightseeing.
